PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY,
MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Mounds View
Village Council was called to order by Mayor Allan B. Crane at 8:15 P. M., Monday,
December 19, 1960, at the Village Office, 5499 Adams Street.

A letter of recommendation from the Police Commission and Chief of Police was
read concerning the bid from River Motors Dodge Dealers in Anoka for one 9 passenger
Dodge 1961 Station Wagon, said letter recommending that the village purchase the
Police Car named in this bid for village police service. Motion by Christensen,
seconded by Malvin to concur with the recommendation of the Police Commission and
Chief of Police and purchase said vehicle for police service at the bid price
stipulated in the bid. 4 ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Malvin seconded by Hodges to purchase a used transistor radio and all
other accessories and equipment necessary to equip the 1961 Police Vehicle. 4 ayes,
motion carried.
Mayor Crane then moved seconded by Malvin to pay bills (list attached), in-
cluding payment of $15,013.44 to the American National Bank for interest and costs
on Water Works Improvement Bonds. 4 ayes, motion carried.
In accordance with a recommendation from the Chief of Police, Motion by Crane
seconded by Malvin to increase the salary of Patrolman Erwin Kish to $150.00 a month.
4 ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Christensen, seconded by Crane to recess until January 3, 1961, at
8:00 p. m. 4 ayes, motion carried.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the special meeting of the village
council was reconvened upon the recommendation by Clerk Smith by Mayor Cram° at
7:32 p. m., Wednesday, December 28, 1960, at the Village Office, 5499 Adams Street.
