OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the
Red Cai Scooi in said Village on the ;(10-day of

1960 at fere.7 o'clock p.m. with the following members present:
Mayor Allan Li. Crane, Clerk Earl E. Smith
Trustees: M. C. Christensen, Donald Hodges, Perry Malvin
and the following members absent:
Member Crane introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED LOCATION OF THE
RAMSEY COUNTY ICE SKATING ARENA AND A REQUEST THAT IT
BE MORE CENTRALLY LOCATED.
WHEREAS, The Ramsey County Board has acted to construct and
locate a county ice skating arena in rural Ramsey County, and
WHEREAS, said arena will be situated in a portion of the county
not readily accessible to the residents of the Village of Mounds View,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW formally objects to the location of a county
ice skating rink in a portion of the county that is not readily accessible
to the residents of the Village of Mounds View, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Ramsey County Board make some
effort to locate said ice skating arena more centrally so that said
arena will be available to a larger per centage of the population of the
residents of Ramsey County.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member , and upon a vote being taken, the following
members voted in favor thereof:
