Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes for approval. Notion carried. Iiayor Crane -read the report of the Polico Commission. Lotion by Crane to accept the daily contract as presented by B & E Patrol. Seconded by Hodges. The contract was read in part for those citizens present at the meeting. In the discussion that followed it was brought out that the B & F "Patrol was the only firm that answered the ad for a Dog Catcher. After further discussion a roll call vote was taken. 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried. Notion by Christensen that the Village concur with the Police Coiiiiission recorrn ondation and that the Attorney he instructed to prepare an amendment to the Dog Ordinance to raise license fees for unspayod female dogs to 325.00. Seconded by I•ialvin. After some dis- cussion from the floor the roll was caller'. 5 Ayes for approval, iio tion carried. Lotion by Blanchard that the Council grant permission to the Police Commission to send letters to four local service stations asking for bids for police car service for one year. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried, Lotion by Crane that the Village pay dues to the iinnesota Police and Peace Officers Assn. at one dollar (1.00) per year per man. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried. Notion by Hodges that the Village re- imburse any Officer who loses time and-pay from his regular job to appear in court in behalf of the Village. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes for approval. Notion carried. Notion by Crane that the Village instruct Northo2n States Power Company to install a street light at the corner of Quincy and Hillview. Seconded b Christensen. It was brought out in discussion that Northern States Power Company was conducting a street lighting study in the Village and that the Village should wait until that is complet- ed before having work done. Roll call vote: Hodges, Iialvin, Blanchard, Nay; Christensen, Crane, Aye. I otion defeated. Trustee Christensen gave a report on theiJor th Suburban Sanitary District and explained what has been done to date and what legis- lative actions are contemplated by the Organization. He also re- ported on the Legislative Council Looting of the League of Minnesota i:unicipali ties.
