The Clerk was instructed to send a copy of the aforementioned map to the legal newspaper and to have the map and notice published. fir. iialvin gave a report on tltpurchase of cleaning equipment for the Village office. 000014 Mayor Crane read a report of the Building and Zoning Sub - Commitee meeting of January 17, 1961. Notion by Crane that the sub- standard house at 7856 Long Lake Rd. no longer he used as a residence but that it could be rebuilt for use as an accessory building or garage. Seconded by ilalvin. 5 Ayes for approval. liotion carried. The Clerk was instructed to send a letter on official stationery to the owner of the building notifying then of the Council action and requesting notification of the owners intent of property at 7856 Long Lake Road. The Clerk read a report of themeeting held on January 16, 1961, regarding the hiring of a Deputy Clerk. lotion by Blanchard that the Village place an ad for one Creek in tIoNetir Brighton Bulletin, Spring Lake Park Crier, St. 7:.ul Pioneer Press, and the liinneapolis Star and Tribune, advertising for an Administrative Deputy Clerk. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes for approval. liotion carried. A contract proposal was read from the firm of Comstock and Davis regarding Engineering Services for the Village. liotion by Crane that the firm of Comstock and Davis be appointed Engineering Consultants for 1961 at the figures quoted in their proposal. Seconded by Bodges, 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried. A Planning Agreement between the Village of i:ounds View and Iiidwest Planners eras read by the Clerk. Iiotion by Hodges to accept the contract as presented and to submit it to iiidwes t Planners for their approval. Seconded by iialvin, Discussion took place about Village work now in thehands of the Planner regarding whether he is is to be paid under this contract or the previous contract. No decision was reached. :.poll call on the Iiotion: 5 Ayes for approval. liotion carried. notion by Crane that the Village engage the services of Richard lieyers as Village Attorney for 1961 according to the terms of his contract as presented. Seconded by Lalv_n. 5 Ayes for approval. liotion carried. The Clerk road a Proposal fron Richard Iieyers and a Proposal from the firm of -Ehlers -Bann and Associates for services to the Village as Fiscal Agents. liotion by Crane that Ehlers -Bann be appointed our Fiscal Agents for 1961. Seconded by Hodges. Trustee Lalvin stated that he had investigated the use by other Villages of their Attorney
