Minutes of January 23, 1961 Council Ecoti ng
An Ordinance to amend Ordinance ,,;`66 and to repeal certain
sections therein was read. Section 1 of this Ordinance regards the
hours of operation of the On and Off -sale liquor stores. section 2
of this Ordinance repealed certain sub - divisions of Section 12 which
had to do with the serving of "set- ups ". After considerable dis-
cussion a notion was made by Craneto adopt this Ordinance. Lotion
died for lack of a second.
Ordinance 01, subject - AN ORDINANCE TO AL= ,;',53 PRO VIDI NG FOR
LICENSE FEES was read. After much discussion regarding fees, a motion
was made by Malvin to adopt the Ordinance. Seconded by Christensen,
5 Ayes for approval. Motion carried.
A RESOLUTION CLASSIFYING C: RTAIN LANDS A3 NONCON ETTATIOI,T LAND
was read. Motion by Christensen to adopt theResolution. Seconded
by Malvin, 5 Ayes-for approval. Motion carried.
The Clerk mts ;.nstructed to send a copy of the Resolution tothe
Land Commissioner, Ramsey County.
A Resolution was.read placing the tax assessment of :mil Pearson
back on the tax rolls. Motion by Christensen to adopt the Resolution.
Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes for approval. Iiotion carried.
The Engineer presented estimated bills for water improvements for
Council approval. Motion by Crane to pay these claims and other bills.
(See list attached). Seconded by Christensen. 5 Ayes for approval.

The Engineer reported the need for a temporary building for use
as a pump house. Motion by Blanchard that the Engineer and the
Public Works Chairman construct a temporary pump house. Seconded
by Crane. 5 Ayes for approval. motion carried.
Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses. (List attached).Seconded
by Hodges. 5 Ayes for approval. Motion carried.
Motion by Christensen to adjourn at 12:20 A.M. Seconded by
Crane. 5 Ayes for approval. Motion carried.
