00004"/ <br />2. <br />Minutes of April 24th, 1961 Council Meeting <br />The Planning Commission report was read by the Clerk and the <br />following action was taken: <br />Motion by Christensen to concur with the Planning Commision <br />recommendation and approved the request for subdivision of Mr. <br />Ralph Edberg 7870 Greenwood Drive* Mrls 21. Seconded by Blanchard <br />5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Christensen to concur with the Planning Commission <br />recommendation and approve the request for sub - division of Lot 62 <br />Knollwood Park Addition* as requested by Bronson - Erickson. Seconded <br />By Blanchard, 5 Ayes. <br />Because there was no member of the Planning Commission present <br />who was familiar with the third request, the matter of a variance <br />for Ed Dropps was tabled: <br />Copy of the Planning Commission report on file at Clerk's office. <br />Mr. Malvin reported on action of Public Welfare Department. <br />Home on St. Stephens Street was notified of Complaint about the <br />state of their yard. The situation was corrected. <br />A Complaint had been received about a home on Co. Rd. J. that <br />was creating a health hazard. This will be investigated and action <br />taken if needed. <br />Motion by Crane to have the Village Attorney prosecute the <br />Herrmann case if necessary. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The Police Commission report was read and the following action <br />taken: <br />(A set of rules governing the use of the Police Cars). <br />Motion by Crane to adopt those rules. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Crane to have Village enter into a "Circle of Safety " <br />traffic check with the Civil Defense handling the program, and to <br />order kit #400 for $17.95 to be used in this program. Seconded by <br />Christenseht 5 Ayes. <br />Mr, Dalberg of Dalberg Builders asked that the Clerk sign the <br />Plat plans for the Flink Addition. These plans had been given <br />previous Council approval. Said Plat Plans were signed and Village <br />seal affixed, <br />The matter of overtime pay for Mr. Skiba, Public Works Supt. <br />was brought up and discussed very thoroughly. The following action <br />was taken, Motion by Christensen that the Water Works Supt, and /or <br />his helper continue to be available and to make Plumbing and Water <br />inspections in such manner as he sees fit and to bring a report to <br />the Council in regards to what compensation he shall receive. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Aires, Hodges -No. Motion carried. <br />The minutes of the North Suburban Hospital Association were <br />placed on file. <br />A proposed Ordinance brought to the Council by the Civil Defense <br />Director was referred to the Attorney. <br />
