EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a <br />regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held <br />at the Red Oak School in said Village on Monday , May <br />1961, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., with the following members present: <br />Mayor Crane and Trustees Christensen, Malvin and Hodges <br />and the following members absent: Clerk Blanchard <br />**** **** <br />The Council then considered the preliminary report of <br />Comstock & Davis of Minneapolis Minnesota, advising as <br />to the feasibility and estimated cost of constructing waterworks improve- <br />ments for the Village. After consideration of said report, member <br />Christensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING <br />REPORT AND CALLING A HEARING ON WATERWORKS IMPROVE- <br />MENT NO. 1961-1, <br />BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of <br />Mounds View, Minnesota, as follows: <br />(1) That the preliminary engineering report heretofore submitted <br />by Comstock & Davis advising this Council as to the <br />feasibility and estimated cost of constructing waterworks improvements <br />for the Village is hereby approved and ordered filed. <br />(2) That said improvement shall be hereafter designated as <br />Waterworks Improvement No. 1961-1. <br />(3) That this Council shall meet at the time and place specified <br />in the form of notice hereinafter contained for the purpose <br />of conducting a preliminary public hearing on said improvement; and the <br />Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said meeting <br />to be given by publishing notice of the same in the official newspaper <br />of the Village at least twice, which publications shall be one week <br />apart with the last publication not later than three days prior to <br />said hearing.
