Motion by Malvin, seconded by Hodges to refer bids to Engineer
for tabulation and recommendation to the Council. There were 4 ayes
for approval.
Mayor Crane called for bids on Street Improvement 1961 -1, no
additional bids were brought forward. Upon being opened the bids
were found to be as follows.

The low bidder was apparently A.H. Construction, but the decision
to award the contract was postponed until later in the meeting.
Mayor Crane called for the Public Hearing on Condemnation of
Buildings.
Attorney Meyers explained to the two signaturees as to the reasons
for this action. The premises of the third Condemnation Case location
of 8430 Eastwood Rd. had already been cleared.
Mrs. Engar Rickard spokesman for the property at 8247 Spring Lk.
Pk. Road explained that there was no easement to her home for repairs
and the premises are used only for storage. After considerable dis-
cussion the Mayor declared that this Condemnation Proceedings be
postponed for two weeks so that a further report could be made by the
Building Inspector to the Council.
