Mr. Knutson, Village Engineer, spoke on the plans for surfacing
of Edgewood from Co. Rd. I to Highway #10.' If there was no objection,
the necessary fill for the new Water utility building would be purchas.

The Building Inspector's report was given by Mr. Piehowski.
The Public Works Stiperintendent, Walter Skiba, reported on the
progress of the Water Utilities
Paul Boogi Administrative Clerk reported that Lloyd Blanchard,
Clerk recommended Mrs. Patricia Raveling be hired as a Clerk- typist
on June 19th. Motion by Malvin to hire Mrs. Raveling as a full time
(40 Hour week) Clerk - Typist at 31.50 per hour beginning June 19.
Seconded by Crane. 3 Ayes for approval.
Mayor Crane read a copy of the findings and conclusions in the
matter of the Expansion of the Anoka County Airport dated June 9th.
Mayor Crane introduced Mr. Comstock, Engineer, who spoke on the
North Suburban Sewer District and the legislatives action thereon,
and read two Resolutions passed by the Fridley City Council pertaining
to the Sewer.
The matter of awarding the contract for the Water Filteration
Equipment was referred to the June 26th, meeting. Representatives
from the firms of the two lowest bidders agreed to write a letter
to the Village Office requesting the two week extension.
Motion by Crane, seconded by Malvin to approve the licenses
submitted (List attached). 3 Ayes for approval.
Motion by Crane, seconded by Malvin to approve the ten Peddler's
Licenses. 3 Ayes. (List attached).
Motion by Crane, Seconded by Malvin, to pay the bills submitted.
3 Ayes.
Motion by Crane, Seconded by Hodges to adjourn. 3 Ayes.
