Notion by Hodges to accept minutes of July 10th, 1961, as pre.. sented. Seconded by Blanchard. 5Lyes. Minutes of Special i eeting July 13th, 1961 were read. Notion by Hodgbr to' accept mji ut6s•, as read. Seconded by Malvin, 5 Ayes. The 'fanning Commission report was: read by Mr. Stole and pre- sented to the Council (copy on file) and the following action was taken: Motion by Crane to concur with the ;Tanning Commission's recommendation regarding the proposed Johnson Plot ancl' to have the Clerk's office notify i° r. Johnson of the Commissions findings. A, He is to provide sufficient street easement for a 73 foot right • of way on Sherwood Road and Edgewood Dr., also, a 60 foot right of way on Greenfield a lace and on Greenfield Ave, Be When he presents his next plot plan that he consider dedicating the low land on his property as a furture playground site. Tie- Clerk's office is to notify Mr. Johnson of the Commissions findings. The regulations and a copy of t'ze Zoning Ordinance, and to furthur notify him of the next Planning Commission's regular meeting on August 15th. Seconded by Malvin, 5 Ayes• The Clerk's office was directed to make available to the Planning Commission's members copies of the sub- division regulations. The matter of two vacancies on the planning Commission was brough`. up. The Mayor asked for names of interested citizens and stated-`thtit these two vacancies would be filled in the near future. Motion by Crane that the Council and the Police Commission contini . to work on the Civil Service Ordinance for the Police Department. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Mr. Christense.a reported that after meeting with representatives of the County Engineers Office, that they could put in the drain system and do the necessary gracing and ditching for the Village at Lambert x ark. A news release was read regarding water meters and rates. (copy of file.) Notion by Christensen to approve the letter from the Clerk's Office for public release. Seconded by Naivin. 5 Ayes. Motion by Crane that the date of April 1, 1961 was the date on which water became available on Prater Projects 1960.•1 and 1960..2 Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. The above motion was passed to fulfill the requirements of Ordinance #74, section 27,
