Ad to be placed in both local papers and both metropolitan
papers.
Mr. Christensen stated that he had discussed several road problems
recently with the County Engineer and made several recommendations
regarding roads.
Motion by Christensen to send work order to County:
Edgewood Road frgm: Ca l Rd:I to H way 10 oil and sand
Greenfield from CO y Rdi I South 5 lots oil and sand
Eastwood Rd U from Co 4 Rd L Ji to highway #10oil and sand

Mr. Skiba reported that hydrants were being checked and flushing
of lines is taking pl ace t He also reported that the Fire Underwriters
have been in the Village to examine the water system... Their approval
of this system can possibly mean up to 3E savings on insurance rates in
the Village. He further reported that an. unlicensed _ plumber was
reported in the Village and was being sought for various reasons.
Mr.„ Howard Thorsen, of Dailey Const.. =Co, presented plans for the
now Irondale Inn on Highway #10 and requested Council approval.,
Considerable discussion was•held regarding the parking area and
it was determined that this area was adequate.
Motion by Crane to approve plans and instruct building inspector
to issue permit subject to the building inspector's approval of structure
Seconded by Malvin,, 5 Ayes,.
The Engineer reported on proposed street improvement in Clints
Addition. Copy of letter and proposal on file Matter referred to
next agenda meeting.
The matter of easements on.Fairchild Ave.. was brought up. Mr.
Vern Sinderson, 8046 Fairchild Ave.,,. presented easements from all but
two of the property owners on the west side of Fairchild and assured the
Council that one more was on its way to them from Mr. ,Daniels, , who was
in New York at the present time..
Mr. Hodge stated that Mr...Porter would not give an easement
without payment.
The Attorney discussed award and settlements for easements of
which he was cognizant.
Motion by Blanchard to place Fairchild Ave. from Highway #10
to Sherwood Rd. back on the 1961 -1 Water Projects Seconded by Hodges.
5 Ayes.
A resolution tocondemn the Porter property on Fairchild Ave. for
a 15ft. easement was presented.
Motion by Blanchard to adopt resolution. Seconded by Malvin.
5 Ayes.
The Council instructed the Attorney to negotiate for the Porter
property and to contact Mr. Christensen if agreeable price is reached.
