The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Mayor Crane at 8 :00 P.M. July 10th, 1961 at
the Red Oak School, Sherwood Rd, and Red Oak Dr. Minneapolis,
Minnesota.

Minutes of the June 26th regular Council Meeting were reviewed;
correction of the minutes.. by Trustee Christensen on page four,
third paragraph add the following after the word plans, "For these
buildings to be drawn by "; delete the words "are presented from ".
Motion by Christensen to approve the minutes as corrected.. :,co4dec

The minutes of the June 29th Special Meeting of the Village
Council were reviewed correction of the minutes by Trustee
Christensen on the first paragraph - -first line, add the following
after the word made, "to approve the resolution granting ". Motion
by Crane seconded by Hodges to''< rrc t-e inutcs :ate corrected. 4 4'ycs,
Discussion was held on the condition of the Village streets,
Mayor Crane reported that on June 29th the Council had toured
the Village inspecting the streets. Motion by Christensen
A. That Clerk's office request'- the County to:
1. Oil Edgewood from County Road 1 to TH #10
2. Blade and Oil Laport Drive from Edgewood to the
East limit(Jackson Drive).
3, Blade and Oil Id,gew od Dr. from Laporte to the
North limit(Ardan Ave.).
4. Grade and Surface inewood Court- The county is
to inform the Village Engineer's when work would
begin - so that the Engineers would install the
proper grade stakes.
Mr. Christensen be authorized to contact a contractor
to patch Pinewood Dr, between. Jackson and quincy„ also
}as twood from Sherwood to "J".
C. Instruct the Attorney and Engineer to work together
to procure additional easement of Hillview from Quincy
to TH #8.
Motion seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes for approval. Mayor Crane
reported that the Council policy was to do a minimum amount of work
on the street until the sanitary sewers are installed.
