A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE
SEWER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, The Legislature of the State of Minnesota has
passed and adopted in amended form in both the &use of Representatives and
the Senate certain enabling legislation commonly called the North Suburban
Act, and.
WHEREAS, Such Legislation nevertheless empowers the City
of Fridley and City of Coon Rapids, and the villages of Brooklyn Perk, Blaine,
Meunds View, and Spring Lake Park, to form for their use a sewer district
within the area comprising their municipalities and
WHEREAS, There is an urgent need to form a .er district

withie such area to provide the essential services of sewerage collection,
treatment and disposal to each of such municipalities and the inhabitants
thereof, and
WHEREAS, Section 4 of such act provides that proceedings for
the establishment of a district under the act are initiated by a resoltuion of
the governing bod of one or more of the affected municipalities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE VILLAGE GP MOUNDS VIEW
as follows:
1. That the City of Fridley and. City of Coon Rapids, and the
villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View, and Spring Lake Park. shall create
a sanitary sewer district.
2. The name of the district shell be the North Suburban Sanitary
Sewer District.
3. The district shall include the eetire city of CO= Rapids,
and the Villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, and
that part of the City of Fridley to be designated by the city engineer in a
subsequent resolution.
4. That there is an urgent need to form a sewer district within
