Motion by Christensen to pay estimates and other bills presented. ( list att.) Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes. Letters to Village Engineer and answers by them to D.W. Hickey Co. regarding structural details of filtration plant were placed on'file. Meeting was recessed for five minutes. Called to order by Mayor Crane @ 9:25 p.m. A resolution regarding mail delivery to 2401 State Trunk .Highway #10 was discussed. Resolution requests that Regional office allow delivery to that address from St. Paul Post Office. Motion by Crane to adopt resolution. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. A letter from a Mr. Bill Mac Laren(Sahara Club) was read and a resolution for correction of erroneous assessment was read. Motion by Crane to adopt resolution. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes, The Attorney reported that the New Brighton Bank could not handle the escrow agreement for the Village. Motion by Crane to set up with the Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis the escrow agreement with the Turbomatic Co. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. The matter ofeasement for Hillview Rd. was referred to the agenda meeting. A letter from the Ramsey Co. Municipal ;Officers Association was place on file. Motion by Crane to reserve five places at the Osseo Meeting of the R.C.N.O.A. on October 3rd, 1961 for the Council. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Mr. Crane read a few prices received on printing of building code and subdivision regulations. These were referred to agenda meeting. Motion by Blanchard to approve license applications submitted. (list att.) Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. A letter from Mr. Wally Groberg was read and placed on file. Mr. Crane stated that this subject (swamp and drainage in Bronson area of Pinewood) was brought up at least eight times before and that the Engineer had made recommendations. Mr. Christensen stated that he felt the lowering of Bronson Drive was partially responsible for this problem and suggested possible raising of this grade. The clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Groberg that the Village is unable to meet the deadline date set in his letter. The subject will be discussed at next agenda meeting.
