The Clerk's office is to write a letter to all appointees
informing them their appointment and of the time and place of their
next meeting.
Mr. Chuck Larson, 7880 Groveland, appeared regarding a
proposed four -plex on County Road H -2. After considerable discussion
the following action was taken. Motion by Crane that sub - division
regulations be waived for a four -plex to be built by J &W Developers
and that building permit applicant submit to Clerk lot plan showing
legal description, dimensions, building set backs, location of drive-
way and off street parking, location of water curb stop and other
pertinent information. Building permit will be issued when lot plan is
recommended for approval by Planning Commission Chairman and when
building specifications are recommended for approval by Building Inspector.
Seconded by Blanchard. 5 ayes.
Motion by Crane to accept petition for water main extension
on County Rd. H -2 and to refer it to Village Engineer. Seconded by
Blanchard. 5 ayes.
The Village Engineer and Mr. Malvin were instructed to
investigate suitable ways to suppress the echo in the new village hall
and to report at the next regular meeting.
A chart regarding tax rates was received from the County
Assessor. The Mounds View homestead rate for 1962 is 234.09 mills, an
increase of 34.46 mills, of this increase 27.04 is for schools, 3.57 for
County services, and 4.30 for Village services.
Motion by Malvin to adjourn. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 ayes.
