HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000007_pg007PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA OJOou7 The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was Called to order by Acting Mayor Donald Hodges at 8:00 P.M., January 8th, 1962, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. Roll Call: Acting Mayor: Clerk: Trustees: Donald Hodges Lloyd Blanchard John Sullivan Perry Malvin Also Present: Engineer: Les Knutson Attorney: Richard Meyers Adm. Dep.Clerk:Pau1 Boog Pub. Works Supt:Walter Skiba The minutes of January 3rd, 1962 were read by Clerk. Minutes corrected to add a line at the bottom of page 1 as follows "Mayor A.B. Crane designated as representative." Motion by Sullivan to accept minutes as corrected. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes. Polite report for December of 1961 and for the year of 1961 read by Hodges and placed on file. Dog Catchers reports for October, November and December 1961 were read and placed on file. The Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Bona and request that he meet with the Council at the agenda meeting on January 20th, 1962. Minutes of the Recreation Committee were read by Hodges and placed on file, He reported that the Recreation Committee will meet on Thursday evenings this year as called. The Clerk was instructed to request a contract proposal from H. Dahlgren, Village Planner, and also to contact Planning Committee Chairman Milt Stole regarding this. Mr, Ken Ballenger, Civil Defense Director reported that the cost of the parkas for Civil Defense uniforms was $24.00 each, The Council requested that Mr. Ballenger appear at the next agenda meeting. Mr, Edmond, Electrical Inspector, reported on delinquent fees from the electricial contractor at the new building. The Attorney is to notify the General contractor regarding this delinquency and of the possibilty of the Village charging a touble fee, The Attorney suggested that the Council re- investigate the proposed Civil Defense Ordinance for corrections needed.
