HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000007_pg19PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:05 P.M. February 13, at 2401 Highway #10. Present Were Mayor: Clerk: Trustees: Absent Engineer: Attorney Pub. Works Adm. Deputy Clerk were: Trustee: Allan B. Crane Lloyd J. Blanchard Donald Hodges John Sullivan Les Knutson Jim Schumacher (for Richard Meyers) Walter Skiba Paul Boog 0U001_9 1962 Perry Malvin (entered at 9:15 P.M.) Motion by Donald Hodges to accept minutes of Janurary 22, 1962 as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes The Mayor opened the Public Hearing on the condemnation of two buildings t. ,CI). at Lot 3, Block 3 Greenfield Plot 2 in the village of Mounds View (2) the premises beginning at a point on a line 33 ft. south from and parallel with the North line and 219 feet east from West line of the south V2 of the S.E. %; thence southeasterly 107 feet parallel with Northeasterly line of S.T.H. 10/62; thence at right angles soutivIsterly 43- 95/100 feet to said Northeasterly line; thence Northwesterly thereon to intersect said first described parallel line; thence east thereon to beginning in Section 8 Township 30, Range 23 in the Village of Mounds View -' ^•'Y bruary 26th, 1962 at 2401 Highway #10, There being no one present interested in said condemnation proceeding the following action was taken: Motion by Blanchard to condemn sub - standard buildings located at(See description above) and that the building inspector shall post notices on said building. Notice shall inform owners that the Council desires that these buildings be destroyed or brought up to building code. Further, the clerks office is instructed to notify owners of said buildings by certified mail of the results of this condemnation proceeding and of the desires of the council, requesting written authorization for disposal of said buildings. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes The police commission report was read by Mayor Crane (Copy on File) Motion by Crane to raise officer Hagens salary to $165.00 per month effective February 15, 1962. Sec. by Sullivan The Mayor pointed out that this was requested by Chief of Police, Grabowski, and that officer Hagen was still serving his probationary term. 4 ayes The Police report was read and placed on file.
