HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000007_pg21-3- 000021 A request by Mrs. Andrus of 2374 Hillview Road for possible rezoning for duplex of her property was refered to the Planning Commission. The report from the Village Planner for Johnson Terrace was not received as promised and the Council made several suggestions to the developers for mutually agreeable changes in their proposal.(Said changes RE: lot sizes after street easements were made) The developers stated they would have the plans changed according to the requests and suggestions and represent them at the next council meeting. Trustee Malvin entered the meeting at this point (9:15 P.M.) Mr. Malvin gave a report on the meeting of the Lakeside Park Commission. He stated that Mounds View will have the ballfield at the park on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Commission will have the swings moved, new picnic tables (of the permanent type), mo;Me sand on the beach and a practice ball field graded off in back of the present one as part of this summer program. Mr. Malvin introduced Dick Jones, State Representative He stated that there would be an important meeting concerning The Dttch Elm Disease with State Officials on February 21st at 8 :00 P.M. at the New Brighton Village Hall. State Representative Richard Jones will also persue oMainf_r.g the Speed Limit reduced at Quincy and County Road I near Pinewood School from 40 to 30 M.P.H. Trustees Malvin and Hodges will attend the meet_ne in the New Brighton Village Hall, February 21st reg^:rdng The Dutch Elm Disease. Th•e Mayor introduced Mr. Stuart Rotheober of 22':5 Oakwood Drive, New Brighton 12, Minnesota. Mr. Rothccber stated that he served on the original industrial development committee and would be pleased to serve again, if requested. Mr. Arthur Moschkau 8320 - rong L 7.ke Road and nr, Rod ^ y Robinson, 8340 Long Lake Road, appeared requesting en extension of water service to their homes. Mr. Moschkau stated that State Board of Health had instructed h:rn to have hie private well tested because 3 members of his family have had Hepatitis recently and they feel that the water may be partially responsible for this. The Mayor requested these men to file a petition for water main extension in the clerks office. The Clerk was instructed to insert a notice in the legal paper requesting any residents wishing an extension of water service to present petitions for extensions as soon as possible, so ,Tork can be started and completed during summer months Mr. Jim Haluptzok, 1744 Hillview Road, Minneapoi a2.1, M.nneeota, requested information regarding street proposal '.nrx f-''.belivisions of a lot in Hillview area This refered to the Planning Commission for study and recommendation. The matter of Gloria Circle was refered to Trustee Sullivan and the Village Engineer for study and recommendation.
