Motion by Sullivan to set road weight limits as of March 15, 1962. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes Clerk instructed to send work order to County Engineer requesting this. The Engineer was instructed to have a filter placed in the lubricating line on pump #1, due to line becoming sand clogged. The Engineer presented specs. for acoustical ceiling in the new building. These were discussed and the following action taken: Motion by Crane to advertise for bids on acoustical ceilings. Bids requested with optional lighting panels, Bids to close April 9, 1962 at 8:00 P.M. Seconded by Blanchard 5 Ayes The Engineer was instructed to prepare specifications and advertise for bids in legal and trade papers. The Attorney's presence is to be required at the next agenda meeting, March 24, 1962 at 1 :00 P.M. for a discussion with the contractor of the utility building. The bond from the Layne Minnesota Company for additional work on well # 2 was presented. The Clerk was instructed to attach this bond to the original contract. A copy of a letter from the Village Engineer to the Chicago Bridge and Iron Company regarding the repainting of the water tank was presented and placed on file. The street number precinct lay out requested by the County Auditor was presented by the Engineer for transmission to the County Auditor. Motion by Blanchard to send Public Works Superintendent, Walter Skiba to Water Superintendents School and to pay his expenses incurred. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Motion by Blanchard to pay bills presented,(List attached.) Seconded by Malvin 5 Ayes Motion by Blanchard to pay bills from commissioners for condemnation hearing from general fund. Money to be ,assessed against water project 1961 -1 and repaid to general fund after receipt of assessments. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes.
