Attoney, Richard Meyers, was instructed to draw up a trailer
park ordinance which would encourage operation of the highest
class.
Engineer,Les Knutson presented estimates for Bronson Drive
and Woodlawn Drive.
Motion by Sullivan to authorize the Engineer to have
Dunkley Surfacing Company to scarify oil and roll Bronson Drive
from Adams Street to Quincy for $670.00. Seconded by Crane. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Sullivan to authorize the Engineer to have
Dunkley Surfacing Company to scarify,oii, and roll Woodlawn Drive
from County Road I to Hillview Road for $733.32.
Seconded by Crane. 4 Ayes
Mayor Crane read the Police Report. With 5,460 miles patrolled
204 calls answered, 66 tickets issued; there were 6 assists to
other departments, 7 persons to jail and 3 juveniles arrested
Motion by Hodges to have Northern States Power install a
street light at Woodcrest and Eastwood as per request on
petition. Seconded by Crane; 4 Ayes
Motion by Crane to have Northern States Power install street
lights at Edgewood Drive and County Road H -2 and at Edgewood
Drive and County Road I. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes.
Mr. Malvin read a letter from Dale Larson about the sewage
problem involvir; the duplexes on Sunnyside Road. This letter to
be referred to the Engineer.
Motion by Crane to have Northern States Power Company
install three street lights on the parking lot,and one on
Edgewood Drive to light the entrance to the lot. Seconded
by Sullivan. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Sullivan to omit the portion of the East -West
Street between Red Oak and County Road J and to instruct the
Engineer to delete this section from the present maps.
Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes.
Sullivan reported that the patching of the Village Streets
would soon be finished.
Mr. Skiba, Public Work Superintendent, was instructed to lay
cultured sod in front of the Municipal Building. Mr. Skiba
was instructed to paint the cross walk on Quincy and County Road
I also at Irondale and Woodcrest.
A renewal of a special use permit was received from Areo
Plastics Inc. The Clerk was instructed to invite him t: the
next Council meeting.
Mr. Piehowski, presented a permit from Mr. Glen Westerheim, 2286
Bronson Drive to build a 10 x 10 foot tool shed. Motion by
Malvin to allow a special permit for a secondary building.
Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes.
