HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000008_pg159PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA 0 ,3015 The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M., November 26, 1962 at 2401 Highway #10. Present were: Mayor:. Clerk: Trustees: Also Present: Engineer: Attorney: Adm Deputy Clerk Public Works Allan B. Crane Lloyd J. Blanchard Donald Hodges Perry Malvin John L. Sullivan Les Knutson Richard Meyers Paul E. Boog Walter Skiba The Mayor called three timesfor further bids on street improvement project 1962.2. There being no further bids, the Mayor declared the bidding closed. The Clerk then opened the bids and the Engineer read them. (See attached sheet) The Hearing for a permit to move a house for N.D. Moe was opened and immediately recessed, as Mr. Moe was not yet present. The Public Hearing for the rezoning of a portion of the O'Connell property was opened by the Mayor. Mr, Jack Bell, Attorney for Benn -Ett Reality Company stated the reasons for their requesting the rezoning. The proposed land use will be for a service station, or a compatible commercial enterprise. The Mayor asked for objectors to the rezoning. There being no objeetors,the following action was taken; Motion by Sullivan to have the minutes show that there were no objectors to the proposed rezoning. To rezone the parcel of land described in the legal notice, (on file) at the S oath• bast corner of Highway #10 and County Road H•2 from R1.A to Bea: subject to the approval of plans for a filling station or other compatible business as approved by the Coungtl, Said rezoning to take place at the time of the approval of said plans, Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. The condemnation hearing continued from the last regular meeting was reopened by the Mayor. The owner of the home at 8281 Spring Lake Park Road presented a letter which is as follows: To Whom it May Conern: The house at 8281 Spring Lake Park Road • Minneapolis 32, Minnesota, has been removed.
