Mrs. White, owner of the Skyline Motel, requested an
extension of a special permit for parking a house trailer
in back of the motel.
Motion by Malvin to issue extension of special permit
because of hardship conditions for parking of a house trailer
behind the Skyline Motel at Highway #8
 for 90 days.
(expiration date, February 26, 1963.) Seconded by Blanchard.
5 Ayes.
Mr. George Gustafson appeared requesting subdivision of
five acres of land on Spring Lake Park Road.
Motion by Crane to concur with Planning Commission's
recommendation and approve the preliminary plat for
Gustafson's Second Addition as presented.
Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
Minutes of Planning Commission were read and placed
on file,
The Clerk was instructed to see that Mr. Piehowski,
Building Inspector, will receive one copy Df any new
subdivision in the Village.
Mr. Ken Ballenger reported that the Village Survival
Plans are still being worked out by Civil Defense Department.
Mr. Ed Dropps appeared requesting a variance of 3' on
side yard set back on an odd shaped lot.
Motion by Blanchard to waive zoning ordinance, allowing
building to come within 7' of neighbors property line.
Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
Building Inspector will check with County Register
of Deeds to see if land subdivision of above land has been
recorded.
Ordinance #97, an Ordinance setting up a Public Improvement
Revolving Fund was presented and read by the Attorney.
Motion by Malvin to adopt Ordinance #97. Seconded
by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Resolution # 116 was presented and read by the Attorney.
(Correction of Assessment) Resolution was referred back to
the Attorney to confer with Engineer for verification.
The Attorney will present a written report on the
Barry Bond Matter.
Motion by Blanchard to have Engineer prepare the Assessment
role for Water Project 1962 -2 and 1962 -3.
Seconded by Malvin . 5 Ayes.
Motion by Crane to allow the 41st District North DFL gamy°
to , at the Village hall the 1st Tuesday of each montn
and urther extend the same priv " ^ to the GOP if requested.
Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
The Mayor reported that a meeting with the Army Officials
and the Twin City Arsenal officials would be held at the
Arsenal, Wednesday, November 28, 1962, to see if Mounds View
could use some of the sewer capacity available on the Arsenal line.
