HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000008_pg166PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY OJO.1_ 6 The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M., December 10, 1962 at 2401 Highway #10. Present were: Mayor: Clerk: Trustees: Also Present: Attorney: Engineer: Adm. Deputy Clerk: Public Works: Allan B. Crane Lloyd J. Blanchard Perry Malvin Donald Hodges John L. Sullivan Richard Meyers Les Knutson Paul E. Boog Walter Skiba Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of regular meeting of November 26, 1962 as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of special meeting of December 6, 1962 as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. Twelve students from the Mounds View High School Senior Social Studies class of Mr. Jerry Christianson were in attendance to take notes as part of their class requirement. The November Police Report was read and placed on file. A detailed report from the Chief of Police regarding the arrest of several juveniles for break -ins was presented for the Council's study. The Mayor reported on the meetings being held by the Governor's Committee for Sanitary Sewer study. The Committee is recommending the adoption of the "Metro Plan." Mr. Hodges reported that the skating rinks will be opened and ready for skating by December 15, 1962 and that registration for children's figure skating and hockey will take place on that date, The Crowley Fence Company has reported to the Village that they will correct the probelms with the backstops and hoods that they installed. The Hillview drainage problem is under study by the recreation committee and the Village Engineer. There will be a Senior Y.A.C. dance on December 14 @ 8 :00 at the Village Hall. Mr. Malvin reported that the rust spots on the water tower had been repainted.
