Minutes of meeting prescribed by statute held on January
2nd, 1963. at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M.

The Building Inspector reported that the plans for Skelly
Oil station at Groveland and Highway #10 were in order and
complete and recommended approval.
Motion by Malvin to authorize issuance of building permit
as recommended by inspectors. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses. (list attached)
Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to pay bills.(list attached)
Seconded by Sullivan 5 Ayes.
Motion by Malvin to make the following appointments:
Newspaper New Brighton Bulletin
Bank First State Bank of New Brigh,
Attorney Richard Meyers
Health Officer Dr. Houle
Chief of Police Ernest Grabowski
Plumbing and Heating Walter Skiba
Building Inspector Chris Piehowski
Electrical Inspector Robert Edmond
Acting Mayor Donald Hodges
Deputy Clerk Paul Boog
Public Works Supt. Walter Skiba
Delegate to RCLMO Donald Hodges
Allen Crane (alternate)
The above motion was seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Sullivan to have the Building, Electrical, and
Plumbing and Heating Inspectors attend conferences and school
at the University of Minnesota on January 14, and 15, 1963.
Village to pay expenses incurred. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
