No need
Assessment would be
excessive
After a brief explanation of charging costs because of a
smaller assessable area the following action was taken:
Motion by Blanchard to extend the water main on Groveland
Road North 155 feet and to have the Engineer prepare the final plans
and specifications. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
The Attorney advised the Council that this project must
commence within 6 months from this date or another hearing would
have to be held. (put notice on calendar pad)
A citizen interested in purchasing a parcel of land in the
Village asked the Councils opinion on the possibility of allowing
a three car garage on the property and further the possibility of
using one stall of this garage as a welding shop for repair and
construction of boat trailers.
This was discussed at some length by the Council and
interested citizens. The Attorney advised that an advisory hearing
could be held and a special use permit could be required.
The applicant was advised to have the present owner of the
property request a public hearing on the matter and to fill out
the proper forms for public hearing including an abstract of land
owners within 250 feet.
