Motion by Crane that the Recreation Committee be allowed
to advertise for and hire their own employees, with Councils approval,
and that after such employee or employees are hired, the Public
Works employees will no longer do park work without direction of
the Council. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
The matter of an open cesspool in the Twelve Oaks area
was referred to the Police Department for immediate action.
The Clerk was instructed to notify the Ramsey County
Engineer to post the load limit signs on er about March 15, 1963.
The Planning Commission will be requested to do a layout
of the Village Hall area. The Engineer's Office will be available
for their assistance if requested.
Motion by Crane to appoint Jim Schlichtmann, 2475 Clearview
as weed inspector for 1963. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
Mr. Schlichtmann stated that he will be able to attend
the regular school for this position.
The Attorney presented a resolution naming Mr. Malvin
as Village Representative on the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer Board.
Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution # 116A Seconded by Sullivan.
Three Ayes. Hodges, Crane Naye.
The Engineer presented several letters for the Councils
information.
i., Letter to the State Health Department regarding areation sewage
plant. Mr, Knutson stated that the Health Department via a telephone
conversation; that he was instructed to obtain a letter regarding
this matter.
2, A letter to Gopher Electric regarding wiring and other work.
3. Letter to Spring Lake Park Fire Department regarding hydrant
M Highway # 10 and Groveland Road.
4 A letter regarding Kuszler lot on Eastwood Road.

Motion by Blanchard that a letter be sent from the Clerk's
Office to Mrs. Kuszler stating that her lot could be split ,
therefore, no reduction in assessment will be considered at this time.
A map showing how the lot could be split to be enclosed in the letter.
Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes.
The Engineer presented an approximate appraisal of Village
owned land for the annual financial report. (on file)
Motion by Malvin to have the Engineer prepare the assessment
rolls on water project 1962 -2 and 1962 -3. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to approve solicitor license for Mr.
Charles Miller in behalf of a local scout troop for selling electric
light bulbs house to house with no fee required.
Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
The Attorney reported that due to recent change in policy
the Villages would now handle non - support cases in Justice Court.
The Attorney presented a resolution abating certain
assessments. Motion by Hodges to adopt Resolution # 117 Seconded
by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
