HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000009_pg32-3- 0J0032 Mr. Sullivan reported that he was investigating a dump truck for Village use at a cost of approximately $900.00. A letter from NSSSD was read by Mayor Crane and a meeting was set with the Board and Village Council in Council Chambers at 4 :00 P.M., Monday, April 1, 1963. The Engineer presented Estimate # 1 for the Walborl Construction Company on the Hillview Road Project. The Engineer stated that the water tests taken in the Village and reports on them were not yet complete. (Hot water tank damage) A resolution regarding 35W plans vr--s referred to the Attorney rid Engineer for study and recommendation. The Attorney was instructed to investigate state and local laws regarding Beauty Shops and to report at the next regular meeting. The Attorney was instructed to prepare an amendment to the Liquor Ordinance along the general lines of action taken at this meeting. Mr. Skiba was given the authority to issue over - weight permits to trucks doing emergency fuel delivery or cesspool pumping in the Village. A letter from the County Engineer and County Board regarding Judicial Ditch # 1 was referred to the Engineer for study and recommenda- tion and also for ascertaining costs of dragline rental. Motion by Blanchard to purchase one copy of League of /Minnesota Municipalities Handbook. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to authorize Mr. Paul Boo to attend a course at the University of Minnesota Center for Continuation Study on April 8th and 9th. Secnnded by Crane. 5 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to approve license and pay bills submitted including Engineer's Estimate # 1 for Hillview Road projects Seconded -by Malvin. (list attached) 5 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to send work order to N.S.P. for one 6,000 lumen street light at the dead end of Fairchild Avenue, North of County Road H as petitioned. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes z Mr. Skiba was instructed to cause dead end signs and barricades to be placed on Fairchild Avenue and at the West end of Woodcrest Drive in the Twelve Oaks Area. The Clerk was instructed to have the Sub - division regulations reprinted at a cost not to exceed $50.00 Motion by Sullivan to appoint Mrs. Bernice Ehlers as Village Assessor.
