An informal meeting with a repre⢠entative from the HighWaP3'37
Department regarding 35W was set for April 10, 1963 at 5 :30 P.M.
A resolution modifying assessments was presented by the
Attorney. Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution # 120.
Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes.
The Attorney made a brief report on the joint municipal
court at Minnetonka, but due to the newness of the court no real
information as to costs is yet available.
The Engineer presented estimates of the costs of cleaning of
Judicial Ditch # 1 for Council study.
The water analysis undertaken recently has been turned over
to the Twin City Testing Lab. and should be ready for the next
regular meeting, the Engineer reported.
Motion by Hodges that a possible open ditch drainage for
Hilltiew Park be investigated by the Engineer and a preliminary report
prepared. Seconded by Sullivan. 1 Naye - Crane 4 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted. Seconded
by Crane. (List attached) 5 Ayes.
Motion. by Blanchard to approve licenses. Seconded by
Malvin. (List attached) 5 Ayes.
Motion by Malvin to authorize variance from Ordinance # 92 as
requested by Mr. Stanchfield and Mr. Roundsley allowing an additional
30 days for the removal of vehicles from their property. Thirty days
to expire May 8, 1963. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes.
Mr. Roy Gale, Deputy Fire Marshall, reported that he had issued
a burning permit in error to a resident that had subsequently received
a summons for violation of burning ordinance. This matter was discussed
and referred to the Police Commission.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes,
Meeting adjourned at 10 :00 P.M.
