Engineer, Les Knutson, was instructed to notify the County
to do the work on Eastwood Road, instructed to the fact that the surplus
material from Oakwood Park be moved to Greenfield Park.
Knutson reported on status of Deep Well # 2, can be operated
at this time, pumping 850 pallons per minute.
The Council and the Attorney Richard Meyers, agreed his
charges on fiscal work would be a minimum of $750.00, a mamimum of
$2,500.00 otherwise % of 1% of first half million and 1/8 of 1%
over first half million. Meyers submitted a memorandum relative to the
vacation of an alley within a platted area. The Attorney was instructed
to contact R. Eigenheer about vacation easement.
Meyers submitted an application for relief, regaring taxes
to be abated, Lot 7,8,25, and 26, Spring Lake Park Hillview also,
Lot 5, Block 9 Twelve Oaks Second Addition owned by Village for Parks.
Motion by Hodges to pay bills submitted in the amount of
$3,066.08. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried (list attached)
Motion by Crane to approve licenses. Seconded by Hodges.
4 Ayes. Motion Carried. (list attached)
Letter from Engineer regarding final estimate for
1962 -2 and 3 to be resubmitted at next meeting.
Motion by Malvin to adjourn. Seconded by Hodges.
