Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Motion by Crane that the Village Engineer contact the County Dean Anklan, to co- ordinate scheduled County Road work with =. <antary sewer planning and /or construction in Mounds View. Seconded by Blanchard. Engineer, 5 Ayes Motion by Crane to have the Village Attorney proceed with : ,tee to acquire right of ways for comtemplated sewer projects. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. Motion by Crane to appoint Chris Piehowski as Chief Inspector at a salary of $50.00 per month plus the present percentage of tee, effective June 1, 1963. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes A copy of Chief Inspectors duties on file with and a part of official record of minutes, The matter of the definition of water hook -up as it applies ?;o the ordinance was discussed. The Attorney stated that in his opinion a hook -up was not complete until the meter had been purchased installed. Motion by Blanchard to publish the schedule of water hook -up c: harge ; . Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. Clerk's Office will notify by mail all water permit holders of the deadline date of June 30 and of the requirement of meter pu -chase and installation to avoid the late hook-up charge The Police report for May was read and filed. A letter from the Ramsey County Engineer regarding o>ctension of County Road I between Groveland Road and Highway # 10 read and filed. A joint Council meeting with . Motion by Sullivan to hire Mr. Jon Miller - 7415 Knollwood Drive s:,- r;reet department employee at $1.50 per hour effective June 17, 1963. conded by Crane. 5 Ayes. The Lakeside Commission has decided not to hire their own ?-c; _.icoman for the park, but has requested Vigilance on the part of h Police Departments p protecting the property. Motion by Sullivan to concur with-the Building Inspectors recommendation and allow a variance to the building code for Mr. Johnke - 8408 Eastwood Drive. Said variance is an addition to home that will protrude 18' beyond present front line. or, onr'ied by Crane. 5 Ayes.
