Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. Engineer Knutson reported on several complaints regarding the hardness of the municipal water supply and the consequent impairment of the heating elements in residential hot water heaters. The Twin City Testing and Engineering Laboratories have taken samples of the water on different dates which indicated an increase In water hardhess from that originally determined. ' Malvin reported that bids were received today by NSSSD Board on two phases, no action was taken. Engineer Knutson was excused. Mr4 John Eastman presented building plans for a ballroom and requested acceptance of a liquor store attached to the ballroom. The Council informed Mr4 Eastman that this inclusion would not be acceptable. After discussion on the sanitary sewer plans and reviewing the progress of the NSSSD Mayor Hodges moved to set the following dates for public hearings for Sanitary Sewer. December 5, 1963 - Public Hearing for the Village Sanitary Sewer Interceptor System December 12, 1963- Public Hearing for Sanitary Sewer lateral system in the Pinewood and 12 Oaks areas. December 19, 1963- Public Hearing for Sanitary Sewer lateral system in the Hillview and Knollwood area. That these hearings to be held at the Edgewood Jr. High School at 8:00 P4M4 Motion was seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. Motion carried, Mr. .John Bell introduced two representative of the Financial Management Association. They discussed a $1,400,000.00 project designed to be built on the triangle of Highway 8 & 10. They were concerned with the availability of Village Sanitary Sewer. Motion by Blanchard to order the following portion of Water Extension Project 1963 -2. County Road H - Highway # 10 exluding the Groveland Road and County Road J portions and to order the final plans and direct the Clerk and Engineer to advertise for bids. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Sullivan to allow asixty day extension to Mr. John Eliason - 8323 Eastwood to continue to live in a mobile home while build- ing his house. Motion seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Sullivan to permit Mr. Kenneth Bonin - 8380 Spring Lake Park Road to store one car in his yard until January 1. Seconded by Malvin, 4 Ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Sullivan to permit Mr. Kenneth Bonin fifteen days to remove the remaining vehicles. The Police Department is to be notified of this time limit and the Police Department be instructed to follow up and make sure that Mr. Bonin removes the vehicles. Seconded by 31anchard. 4 Ayes. Motion Carried.
