The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called
to order by Mayor Hodges at 8 :00 P.M., January 13, 1964 at 2401 High-
way #10.

Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of Dec.23, 1963 as presented.
Seconded by Hodges, 5 Ayes.
Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of Dec.30, 1963 as presented.
Seconded by Rustad, 5 Ayes
Motion by Hodges to approve minutes of Jan.6,1964 as presented.
Seconded by LaVaque, 5 Ayes.
The Mayor reported that the final public hearing for sewer would be
held at the Mounds View Village Hall on Tues., Jan.13 at 8:00 P.M.
The Clerk reported that ground breaking ceremonies would be held
at noon the same day for the first N.S.S.S.D. contract in N.E. Minneapolis.
Mr. Everett Boerhave, 5536 Welcome Ave. N., MPLS. 29, requested a
permit to move a home into the village. Motion by Rustad to set public .
hearing on this subject at 9:00 P.M. on Jan.27, 1964. Seconded by LaVaque.
5 Ayes.
Motion by Hodges to appoint John Sullivan as acting Mayor. Seconded
by Rustad. Sullivan Abstained. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Hodges to retain last years appointees, to the following
positions, for 1964:
Building Inspector: Chris Piehowski
Electrical Inspector: Robert Edmond
Plumbing Inspector: Ronald Whiteneck
Sewer Inspector: Ronald Whiteneck
Gas Inspector: Ronald Whiteneck
Water Inspector: Walter Skiba
Weed Inspector: Jim Schlichtmann
Motion by Hodges to appoint Comstock and Davis as Village engineers.
Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. Sullivan naye.
Motion by Hodges to appoint Dick Meyers as Village attorney.
Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes.
