Motion by Blanchard to adopt assessment divisions no. 32943 - 32943 --

A resolution regarding sale of bonds for the Mueller project was
presented by the Attorney. Motion by Hodges to adopt Resolution #144
entitled:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY
OF $35,000 WATER IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1964, PAYABLE FROM
THE IMPROVEMENT BOND REDEMPTION FUND, AND PROVIDING FOR
AND APPROPIATING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE SUPPORT
AND MAINTENANCE OF SAID FUND.
Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to pay bills totaling $17,319.58. Seconded by
LaVaque. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to approve applications and issue licenses.
Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
A request for an extension of time for a special use permit to keep
a trailor at 8323 Eastwood Road was held over for the next regular
meeting when the petitioner will be requested to be present.
A petition for a street light at the intersection of Highway #10
and Fairchild Ave. was received.
Motion by Hodges to send purchase request to N.S.P. for one 6,000
lumen street light at the intersection of Highway #10 and Fairchild Ave.
Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Hodges to appoint Jim Olson of Juran and Moody as fiscal
agent for 1964, under the same agreement as last year. Seconded by Sullivan.
5 Ayes.
Mr. Skiba reported some trouble with Well #2. This was referred to
the Engineer.
Motion by Sullivan to have the Attorney send a letter of protest,
in behalf of Mounds View, for the improper way in which the Chies dump
is being operated. Letter and copies to be sent to Chies Bros., Village
of New Brighton, Dept. of Health, State of Minnesota and the Minnesota
Water Pollution Control Commission. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
The date of the 3rd annual organizational dinner was announced as
Feb.1,1964.
Mr. Rustad presented the Police reports for December and for the
year 1963. These were read and filed.
The Clerk's office was directed to prepare a letter of commendation
for the Police Dept. for their continuing good work.
The Clerk's office was instructed to again contact B & E Patrol
regarding their failure to submit reports as directed.
