Motion by Blanchard to set a public heating to rezone from R2 to
R3 the Nprth 390 feet of the East quarter of the Northeast quarter of
the Northwest quarter, Section 8, ToWishi 30, Range 23, Ramsey coUnty,
Minn 9ota. Hearing to be held oh Mon ayy, Feb. 10,1964 at 9:00 P.M.
(Siwek Apts. on Groberg) Seconded by LaVaque. 4 Ayes.
Mr. Skiba reported that the meters removed from the village by a
realtor,(reported at previous meeting) have been returned.
Mr. Piehowski presented plans for Cross of Glory Church and requested
approval. Motion by 3lanchatd to concur with building inspector's re
commehdatioh and aU hotize.hitn to issue building permit for Cross of
Glory Church. Secod ed by LaVaque 4 Ayes.
The Engineer reported that the new state aid requirements necessitated
the purchase of a new traffic counter by the village. This was laid over
to the next regular meeting for cost estimates by the Engineer.
The Attorney was directed to work with the Engineer and to prepare a
formal contract for engineering services.
The Engineer p esented orally a request by the County as follows:
1. County to designate Fairchild Ave. as County Road.
2. TWo a1tetnates north of Highway #10.

The Attorney was inatrUcted to asceitsin whether or not the County will
}gay for easements and the Council can make a decisioh on which al etnate
route to take at that time.
The Attorney presented a resolution to request the County to change
the name of Spring Lake Park Road to Spring Lake Road. Motion by Blanchard
to adopt Resolution #145. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes.
A resolution referring to change of essments for project 1960 -1
and 1960 -2 was presented. Motion by Hodges to adopt Resolution #146.
Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes.
A resolution referring to change of assessments for project 1961 -1
was presented. Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolution #147. Seconded by
LaVaque. 4 Ayes.
A resolution regarding certain assessments was presented. Motion by
LaVaque to adopt Resolution #148. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes.
Resolution #148 covers the following divisions: #32738(MA 34,3;5,43), 32987
(MA 34 & 35) , 32478, 32773 (MA 35,37), 32848 (MA 34 & 37) .
A resolution abating assessment of 11.36 was presented. Motion by
Hodges to adopt Resolution #149. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes.
Copies of letters from the Attorney to the Board of Health, New Brighton
Council, Chies Bros., regarding the condition and operation of the Chies
dump were placed on file.
Motion by Hodges to adopt Ordinance #109, entitled: (Snowbird)
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING REM')VAL CF MOTTR VEHICLES FROM
PUBLIC PARKING AREAS AFTER PROPER WARNING . AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO OBSERVE WARNING.
