The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., July 13, 1964 at 2401
Highway # 10.

Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of June 22, 1964
as presented. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of July 6, 1964 as
5 Ayes.

Motion by Rustad to grant extension of permit for junk
vehicle parked at 2294 Bronson Drive. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
The Council gave informal approval to Mr. A. Berkeland's
request for a subdivison allowing 832 front footage on his lot
adjacent to Johnson Terrace.
Mr. William Dobendrier requested the Council to grant him the
special use permit for a trailer park at Hillview Road and Highway # 8.
He was advised by the Village Attorney that before the permit could be
granted all conditions of the ordinance must be met.
Mr. J. Clobes appeared before the Council with an informal
complaint about a neighbor raising chickens, ducks, etc. He presented
a copy of a letter from his doctor stating the allergies of his
children and this letter and complaint were referred to Mr. La Vaque.
for investigation and recommendation.
Motion by Blanchard to approve revised preliminary plot plan
for Parkview Addition. (C.Larson Developer) Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
The Attorney was instructed to prepare a revision to the
Building Code abolishing the contractors bond and requiring a certificate
of insurance including liability coverage.
The Clerks Office will notify contracts of the above action.
The Council advised the Clerkts Office that the requirement
seperate licenses for Plumbing and Heating contractors will remain
as it is.
The Mayor announced that a special meeting would be held on
Tuesday, July 14, 1964 at 8:00 P.M. for the opening of the bond bids.
