The matter of an easement requested from Mr. R. Bona
was referred to the Attorney
The Police Report for July was read and filed.
A letter from Chief Grabowski regarding a shooting permit
issued by the Ramsey County Game Warden, Salvator was read,
The Council advised the Chief that they would not allow
any shooting in the Village and a letter to Mr. SaLator will be
sent by the Clerk's Office informing him that the only method that
meets the approval of the Council would be trapping.
Motion by Schott to allow Mr. Skiba to attend the American
Water Works Association Convention on Sept. 23,24,25. Village to pay
expenses incurred. Seconded by La Vaque.

Motion by La Vaque to allow subdivision for Perry Malvin
8088 Sunnyside as requested. (Plot plan on file) Seconded by Hodges

Motion by Rustad to grant side yard setback variance as
requested, permitting a 5' set back for Mr Hubert Bona 5155 4th St.
Seconded by Schott 5 Ayes
Motion above subject to receipt of fees and completion
of necessary forms.
Motion by Rustad to make final award of contract to C.S.
McCrossan and Sons for Schedule A, Sanitary Sewer and Surface
Drainage Project 1964 - -1 and to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to
execute said contract. Seconded '::y La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
Before entering into an agreement with the Highway Dept.
for further drainage work beyon.e7. Highway # 8, the Attorney advised
the Engineer to get a timetable of funds so that the village
will not have to underwrite the cost of this additional work.
A letter from Shoreview Village was read, requesting a
contract guaranteeing certain work being done by Mounds View before
they would approve of the Highway # 8 crossing of the drainage conduit.
This was referred to the Attorney.
Motion by Blanchard to accept the Plans. and Specs
for water and street improvement project 1964 1 Seconded by Schott.
5 Ayes.
Motion by Hodges to adopt Ordinance # 116 ammending
Ordinance # 74 changing certain wording regarding the hook -up
fees for water service. Seconded by La Vaque 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to set Public Hearing to vacate the
North 30' of the South 744.43' of the East u of the Southwest
of the Southwest- of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23. Hearing to
be at 9:00 P.M. September 14, 1964. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution # 169 regarding water
assessments and lot splits. MA #34 Division 33750 Area Water
Improvement and MA #37, Divison 33 ?50 Lateral and Service Water
Improvement. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
