Motion Carried. 9:15 P.M. Mayor Hodges opened the Public Hearing on rezoning lot 78,79, and 80, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition, from R -3 to B -3. This property is located generally in the vicinity of Highway # 10 and County Road I owned by Ole Bacon. Mayor Hodges asked for objectors after Mrs. E. Bacon explained the reasons for this request. Mayor closed the hearing. Motion by Rustad to deny the rezoning because of the number of objectors and also the fact that no definite or specific business was requested. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. Motion carried. 9:55 P.M. Mayor Hodges opened the Public Hearing on rezoning the t:'est 150 feet of the East of the Northeast !q of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 except the N. 8 acres therof, and except the E 400 feet of the 5400 feet thereof from R -1 to R -2. This property is located along the East side of Raymond Avenue from County Road H -2 to Belle Lane formerly owned by Toner. I'Iayor Hodges called for objectors, none appeared. Mr. Charles Larson spoke in favor of this rezoning. Motion by Hodges to rezone this strip of property from R -1 to R -2. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. Motion by Blanchard to approve the final plot plan for Park View Terrace submitted by Charles Larson and authorize the Clerk to sign the plot plan. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. Attorney Meyers announced he would hold condemnation meetings on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evening at the Village Hall. Motion by La Vaque to adopt Resolution 171 )setting forth the terms of the assessments for Road and 1Jater ment 1963 -1, Mueller Addition. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. Attorney Meyers explained Ordinance # 117 establishing a Civil Service Commission for Policemen. Motion by Blanchard to pay the bills totaling $87,382.27. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. Motion by Blanchard to approve the licenses with the exception of the Dog Kennel, and have the Clerks Office request the Police Department to investigate the applications for Dog Kennel Licenses. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried.
