Blanchard Charles La Vaque Ingram Rustad Arthur Schott Shelly Boehm Richard Meyers Paul E. Boog Irene Edberg t 1a lter Skiba Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of September 14, as presented. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion by Rustad to grant variance allowing a 2 foot side yard setback to Mr. Rosario DuMoulin - 5080 Eastwood Road. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. Motion by La Vaque to appoint James E. Burggraff - 1850 Spring View Lane to fill the unexpired term of W. Weibel on the Planning Commission. (term to expire December 31, 1965) Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, presented a list of the activities of the Mounds View School District, that the Mounds View Civil Defense men will be attending. A letter from the Highway Department notifying the Civil Defense of an award they will receive for conducting the Vehicle Safety Check was received. At 7:30 P.M., September 29, 1964 the Civil Defense will have a practice emergency communication alert at the Village Hall. Motion by La Vaque to approve the specs and advertise for bids for a new pick -up truck for the Water Department. Bid closing at 8:00 P.M. November 9, 1964. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Motion by Schott to send a work order to the County Engineer for 1. Patching - Longview- tloodale area. 2. Patching - Quincy Street between Hillview and County Road 1 3. Patching - Oakwood and Quincy intersection. A work order to Northern States Power Company for 1. Street Light at intersection of Greenwood Drive and Sherwood Road and to direct the Public Works Department to place "Dead End" sign Dn Gloria Circle. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. The proposed special use permit for the Colonial Village Mobile Home Park was read and discussed. Motion by Blanchard, upon the Village Attorneys recommendation, to grant the special use permit for the Colonial Village Mobile Home Park and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same.
