Mr. Rustad gave -a short report on the informal North

Suburban Hospital District informational meeting held on October 7, 1964.
It is the feeling of the Council that the actions and efforts
of the Hospital District have been in the best interest of the Village
and that the Council stands behind them 100%. (Letter to this effect
to go to Mrs. Wall, Secretary of Hospital District.)
Mr. Boehm advised the Council that the Ziegler Company has
ordered the necessary equipment to make Well #2 operative, but a delay
in receipt of these parts is expected.
Mr. La Vaque stated that in a recent welfare case in the
Village, the Police Department and the Ramsey County Sheriffs Answering
Service performed outstanding service to the Village and a letter will
be sent regarding this matter to both departments.
Mr. Skiba was directed to prepare a list of roads needing
repair and to refer it to Mr. Schott.
Mr. Schott gave a report on the League Meeting held on ')ctober
6, 1964 and attended by Blanchard, Boog, La Vaque, and Schott.
The Attorney was given a copy of the Arden Hills Liquor '3rd.
for study ar recommendation to see if Village could adopt it.
The repair of Red lak Drive from Woodcrest to County Road H -2
was referred to the Engineer for study and action.
The possible connection of the new storm sewer with the
existing storm drainage in the Ironwood Plat area was referred to the
Engineer for study A
Motion by Rustad, upon recorrm nd ^tion of the Attorney to
authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a contract the the Board
of Water Commissioners, :Oity of St. Paul, to allow crossings of St.
Paul water line., and to ndopt Resolution #.174-4.77
Seconded by La Vague. k:.` 4,Ayes.
The agreement with the Village of Shoreview in regards to
35 W crossing of storm sewer conduit returned to Attorney for further
clarification.
Mr. Meyers presented the form to be used for Sanitary Sewer
Petitions.
A letter from Turbomatic Company was referred to the Engineer
and Attorney for recommendation at the next regular meeting.

The Civil Defense informed the Council that they would assist
the Police Department .n Halloween Street patrolling.
The Engineers report on 1964 -2, Water and Street Improvement
Project was received and filed.
Motion by Blanchard on recommendation of the Engineer, to
accept the low bid of C.S.McCrossan, Inc. in the amount of $26,917.40
for Water and Street Improvement Project 1964 -2 and to authorizg the
Mayor and Clerk to execute contracts. Seconded by Schott. 4 Ayes.
