The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Acting Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M., October 26, 1964
at 2401 Highway # 10.

Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of October 14, 1964
as presented. Seconded by Schott. 4 Ayes.
Mr. Blanchard gave a report on IV.SSD and replied to a letter
in the Minneapolis paper October 23. (copy of answer attached to
official minutes.)
Mr. Joe Stork - 8016 Red Oak Drive - stated that the storm
drainage in front of his home was on his private property and requested
that the situation be corrected. Matter referred to Village Engineer
for action if necessary. Mr. Stork also reported that the contractors
employees were consuming beer and had discarded cans in his yard.
Matter referred to Mr. Skiba for investigation and correction.
The Clerk's Office was directed to notify local papers
of system of registration for voting.
Mr. La Vaque referred a protrlem of water billing to the
Clerk's Office and reported that 1377 water meters were now in
use in the Village.
Mr. Schott gave the road report. Motion by Schott
to send work order to the County Engineer to re- surface Red Oak Drive
from Woodcrest to County Road H -2. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Schott to send wank order to the County Engineer
to make necessary road repairs in the Sanitary Sewer C -1 and C -3
Districts. .Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Mr. Robert Edmond, Electrical Inspector gave a brief report
on the Street Lighting seminar sponsored by N.S.P.
Mr. Chris Piehowski, building inspector, requested two
changes in the building ordinance regarding 24" on center rafters
and the use of vprebuilt truss construction Matter referred to
Attorney and Engineer.
