Mr. Foss submitted the Norseman. Plot plan for approval.
Motion by La Vaque to approve the final plat plan for
Norseman 1st Addition and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign it.
(Located at County Road H -2 and Raymond Avenue - 14 duplexes)
Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried.
Mr. E. John :Abdo, Attorney, representing Harold Ellsworth
and Harryankhanel who applied for a special use permit to build a
Mobile Home Park on the Moga - Rice Creek Area.
Motion by La Vaque to refer this matter to the Planning
Commission. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried.
Mr. Ramacher, Manager of the Bel Rae Ballroom, requested
permission from the Village Council to install a reflector on the
Village '`later Tower. This reflector is to allow live T.V. to be
broadcast from the Ballroom.
Motion by Hodges to refer to the Attorney the question
of legality of leasing Public property to private individuals and
instruct the Attorney to give an opinion on the request to permit
installation of a reflector on the Mounds View Water Tower to be used
as a TV Pntenna. The Council would call a special meeting to discuss
and to take action on this request. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
Motion carried.
Mayor Hodges stated that the dog catcher had been instructed
to enforce the dog control ordinance at all Village Skating rinks.
Mr. A. Hillsdale requested information on the drainage
problem on Bronson Road and Adams. This was referred to the Engineer.
Mayor Hodges reported on the Mobile Home Park Developement
meeting held on December 7, 1964 at the Village Hall. This
referred to the Moga -Rice Creek area.
Mayor Hodges reported on the December 10, 1964 meeting in
St. Paul for the Suburban Mayor and Officials. The meeting requested
by Mayor Vavolis, spent time discussing the entire range of suburban
problems.
Mayor Hodges reported that the ice skating rinks are ready,
the warming houses are open, and attendents are working.
Trustee Rustad asked about having a warming house on Spring
Lake. Mayor Hodges reported that some steps are being planned toward
this goal.
Trustee Rustad read the Police report for November. (on file)
After some discussion about winter parking near the apartments on
Groberg Avenue the Council decided to enforce the Snow Bird Ordinance.
Rustad read the B and E Patrol report for November.
Rustad reported on the meeting held with the Minnesota
Highway Department.
Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolut''on # 180 approval of Trunk
Highway # 35W Plans from Arms Plant to Wort C .. to Limits, Portion
Layout # 6D.S.P. 6284 -21; 0280 -01. Seconde Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Motion Carried.
