1. Approval of final plans by the Village Council.
2.: Conformance to the Proposed changes in the Mobile Home Park
Ordinance
3. The special use permit will be non - transferrable until construct -
ion is completed. Seconders by Malvin.
The developer of Johnson Terrace informed the Council of
the fact that the deed for that park property has not been properly
recorded. Matter referred to the Attorney.
Mr. Ron Vanelli, representing Northern States Power Company,
presented the Council with cost figures for service to the Mounds View
Pumping Stations as follows:
# 1 - $1500; # 2 - $165.00; # 3 $520.00
Referred to the Attorney for recommendation.
Mr. Simcoe and Mr, Tupper from Minnesota Supply Company
requested the Council set up a meeting so that they could demonstrate
their voting machine.
Meeting date set Monday, February 15 at 8:30 P.M. Paper
will advertise this meeting, The General Public is invited to attend.
Motion by Blanchard to accept the bid of National Cash
Register for the Office Billing Machine for $4,320.00,
Seconded by La Vague. 5 Ayes.
The representative from the Company informed the Council
that he may not be able to deliver the machine as bid. The Clerk
advised the Council that the bid bond was designed to cover this
eventuality.
Motion by Hodges to turn over the entire operation of the
pop machine includinc profit, if any, to the Y.A.C. to help finance
their program. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Mr. La Vague read a letter regarding Well # 2 from Ziegler
Company. (on file) Said Well had been repaired, tested and broke
down again.
The sewer pumping contract from Northern States Power was
referred to the Attorney for study and recommendation.
A letter from the Council to Mr. Anklan, County Engineer,
was read, requesting full sanding of Village Streets (copy on file)
The minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting were read
and filed.
Motion by La Vague to set a public hearing to rezone the
following property: Between County Roan I and Bronson Drive and
between St. Stephens Street and Greenfield Avenue, from R -1 to R -3
for multiple dwellings as requested by Mr. Nordling and Mr. Babinski, •
No action to be taken until fees are paid. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Motion by La Vague to set the following wage changes:
1. Part -time Police Officers to be paid $2.00 per hour for actual
hours worked.
2. Increase of monthly salary of Sgt. Hagen. Increase will be $20.00
per month.
