HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000014_pg18PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA 001.8 The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., February 8, 1965 at 2401 Highway # 10. ROLL CALL OF OFFICIALS: Mayor: Clerk: Trustee: Absent: Trustee: Aiso Present: Engineer: Attorney: Fiscal Agent: Adm. Clerk: Public Works: Donald C. Hodges Lloyd J. Blanchard Charles La Vaque Perry Malvin Ingram C. Rustad Shelly Boehm Richard Meyers Zane Mann Paul E..Boog Walter Skiba The minutes of the regular meeting held January 25, 1965 were corrected as follows: 1. Page 1, Para. 3 Line 5, (Date not correct) Shall read November 3, 1964, General Election in Mounds View. 2. Page 2, Para. 3, Line 4, (cost of # 3 incorrect) Shall read # 3 - $520.00. Motion by Malvin to accept minutes of January 25, 1965 as corrected. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. Mr. ZAne Mann, Fiscal Agent, presented a proposed resolution for a bond sale and explained the need for this to the Council. Motion by La Vaque to adopt Resolution # 189 as presented. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. Mayor Hodges reported on the following items: 1.. Woodcrest Park progress, fill being placed, brush being burned. 2. Little League Baseball contract - refer;- this to Attorney Meyers for checking. 3. A letter from the Department of Highways, State of Minnesota, expressing appreciation for the cooperation received from Mr. Boog, regarding a building permit inventory they were conducting. (on file) Mr. La Vaque reported on the following items: 1. Plowing in Village now satisfactory. 2, Petitions for road improvements for non - sewered areas available at Village Office. 3. A letter from the Village Engineer regarding Well # 2 , covering further repairs. ( on file ) 4. The Water Department report for 1964. (on file) The Engineer presented Change Order # 2 for Schedule B of Sanitary Sewer Project 1964 -1. Motion by Hodges to approve Change Order # 2 on Schedule B Sanitary Sewer Project 1964 -1 and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes.
