O W'WY27 Motion by La Vaque to send work order to N.S.P. for one 6000 lumen light to be installed at the intersection of Hillview and Sunnyside roads. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes The Clerk read a letter from the Engineer, (Copy on file) setting forth sewer laterals to be constructed in the Al - A2 & Bi sewer areas. A resolution for the Department of Highways and plans for 35W interchange at Ifighway 10 was presented by the Engineer. The Clerk signed a receipt for them and they were referred to the Engineer and Attorney for recommendation. (Said plans cover fence,,:lights and signs only) The Attorney reported that in the process of acquiring an easement for Silver Lake Road extension, one property owner asked if the village would want his entire parcel of 3 acres for extension of Woodcrest Park. The Council advised the Attorney to accept only if no cost was involved. The Attorney reported that the Moga appeal has been droppers and that the final payment for that condemnation would be requested soon. A claim for $655.00 from Mary and Earl Strong for Sewer Easement #91 was presented by the Attorney. (Arden Ave. right -of -way) Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution (# 193 reapportioning water assessments. Seconded by Rustad. -�.- 5 Ayes. At 9:00 P.M. the Mayor opened the public hearing for rezoning. The Clerk informed the Council that the hearing was only for a portion of the original request due to the failure of the petitioner to furnish necessary papers in time for mailing. The Clerk then read the legal notice and verified the publishing and mailing of same. Mr. C. Larson, developer, answered several questions regarding lot sizes and apart- ment sizes. The Mayor called three times for objectors. There were none. The Mayor closed the hearing. Motion by La Vaque to rezone The East 16 of the West V2 of the Northeast '/a of the Northwest % of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23, from R1A to R3 subject to submission and approval of building permit. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. Mr. Meyers presented copies of a memo prepared by him for the Police Civil Service Commission, which was discussed. Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses requested. (List attached) Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $71,762.55. (Includee $655.00 for easement #91) Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
