Minutes of Planning Commission were read and filed. Motion by
La Vaque to concur with planning commission recommendation and set
public hearing for rezoning D. Zabel property;
to State Hwy 10/62 over Nely 75 ft. the Nely 410; 6/10
feet of part of SE %, SWLY of CL of SD ST H and Bet 2
LS run SWLY at RA from SD CL and from PTS measured.
Thereon 965 9/10 ft. and 1065 9/10 ft. from SL of SD
Vel in
from B1 to B3 for Offices and Warehouse on April 26, 1965 at 9:00 P.M.
Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes,
Above action dependent on receipt of proper papers and payment of fees
involved.
Mr, Mann reported on the bid received for the bond issue and ad-
vised the Council of their choices of action:
1. Dismissal and re- advertising
2. Splitting bond issue and re- advertising
3. Negotiating privately
4. Acceptance of bid received as interest rate was approximately
what was anticipated. _
After some discussion the Council felt that #4 above was the proper
course of action and the Fiscal Agent presented three resolutions
regarding this.
Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolution 196/ Seconded by La Vaque
�.
Awarding sale of bonds. -- 5 Ayes.
Motion by La Vaque_ to adopt Resolution 197 Seconded by Hodges
Consolidating Sewer and Street Improvement. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution # 198 Seconded by
Malvin. 5 Ayes. Resolution # 198 au izing the issuance,
sales and 4elivery of $1,860,000 improvement Bonds of 1965, payable from
the Improvement Bond Redemption Fund, and providing for and appropriating
special assessments for the support and maintenance of said fund, and
also levying General Ad Valorem Taxes for said fund.
Motion by La Vaque to send Mr. Skiba to the Water Works Operators
School at.the University of Minnesota and to pay necessary expenses in-
volved. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
Mr. Rusted announced that the Mounds View Lions Club would spon-
sor an Easter Egg Hunt at the Village Hall this year, as the Mounds View
Businessmens Club is not able to do this.
