PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting
of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 3 :40 p.m.
May 11, 1965 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway # 10.

A lengthy discussion was held on methods of removal and
types of Federal Financial Assistance regarding the hazards caused by
the tornado. The Emergency Planning Coordinator, Allen reviewed
the eligibility projec -; applications, advances of funds, and
preparation of claims.
Motion by Malvin to approve the contract with Herbst
Construction Company t) remove the debris and wreckage causing a
public health and safety hazard, the cost not to exceed .;72,500.00.
Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried.
The next meeting is to be held on Wednesday May 12, 1965
at 4:00 P.M.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by La Vaque.
