Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting
of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at
6:30 P.M. Mayl7, 1965 at 2401 Highway # 10, St. Paul, Minnesota

The Mayor called three times for f urth€ bids on Sanitary
Sewer Project 1965 -3. The bidding was then closed.
The Engineer and Clerk opened the bids. (list attached)
The Mayor asked if any bads submitted were not read.
There were none.
Motion by Blanchard to refer all bids to the Engineer and
Attorney for tabulation and recommendation. Seconded by La Vaque.
4 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to set a public hearing to rezone the
East % of the East % of the Northeast / of Section 8, Townsip 30,
Range 23, except the North 8 acres thereof, and except Norseman
1st Addition, and subject to State Trunk Highway (Toner Home Prop)
from R -1A to B -3 with a special use permit for a Mobile Home Park.
The hearing will be held on June 28, 1965 at 9:00 P.M. subject to
filing proper forms. Seconded by La Vaque. 4Ayes.
The Attorney was directed to prepare an ordinance
designating Arden Avenue.
Motion by Hodges to authorize the Attorney to purchase
Edgewood Drive easement from B. Christensen at $1,250.00.
Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Malvin to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to
execute quit claim deed to easements # 8 and # 12 inclusive from
G. Gustafson. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to set a monthly rental of $50.00 for
village leased F.H.A. homes after the first thirty days.
Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
The Engineer was instructed to prepare a change order on
Sewer Project 1964 - -1 Schedule C to repair Long Lake Road peat problem.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Meeting adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
