VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW

The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., June 14, 1965 at
2401 Highway # 10.

Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of regular meeting held
April 26, 1965 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of regular meeting held
May 10, 1965 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of regular meeting held
May 24, 1965 as presented. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of special meeting held
May 3, 1965 as presented. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.

May 11, 1965 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.

Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of special meeting held
May 17, 1965 as presented. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
Mr. Rustad reported the following as Village representative
to the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District.
1. Reaffirmed that the district does have an outlet for
the sewage.
2. Mounds View force main contracts to be let this month
and finished this fall.
3. N.S.S.S.D. may extend line to serve a portion of
Shoreview, Lexington and Circle Pines.
After checking statement by Twin City Testing Laboratory
and Comstock and Davis regarding the water treatment system, the
Attorney approved the release of the escrow money held as guarantee.
The Clerk was directed to prepare the necessary papers as soon as
possible.
A petition for Sanitary Sewer service in a portion of the
C -1 area ( on file) was received and discussed.
Motion by Blanchard to order the Engineer to prepare a
report on sanitary sewer service in the C -1 and C -3 areas, and further
o set a public hearing on this matter for 9:00 p.m. on July 12, 1965.
Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
