VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of
the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 6:35 P.M.
on September 20, 1965 at 2401 Highwzy # 10.

Motion by Blanchard to advertise for a Clerk- Typist at $1.50
per hour in the Clerks Office. Hire effective October 1, 1965 if
possible. Seconded by La Vaque, 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to approve the final plat for sub - division
for Charles Larson at Arden Avenue between Long Lake Road and Eastwood
Road including the future Greenwood Drive easement. Seconded by
Rustad. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to approve variance request by Mr. Bernard
Maher for home at West 75' of East 253' of the following described
property. The North 202.5' of the S. 1012.5' of the East 528' of
the West 2112' of the N.E. corner of Section 6, Township 30, Range
23., allowing a 9' side yard set back on garage side (east side)
subject to proper fees and payment. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
Motion by La Vaque to authorize work order to Ramsey County
for plowing and sanding all streets in Mounds View during the 1965 -66
winter season. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
Mr. Davis, former police officer is to receive one - fourth
vacation pay for time worked during 1965 per Police Department
Personnel Resolution.
The Provisional Hook -Up Permits for Sanitary Sewer were dis-
cussed. The Clerks Office was directed to print the forms.
Motion by La Vaque that Provisional Sanitary Sewer Permits will
be issued only upon approval of the Public Works Department. Seconded
by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to set Public Hearing for rezoning of Ldrs
8 and 9 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition. Hearing set for Oct. 25,
1965 at 9:00 P.M. if proper papers including certified copy of property
owners within 250 feet are received. Request for rezoning was present-
) ed by Howard Thorsen, Dailey Homes, Inc. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to accept final plans and specifications
on Street Improvement Project 1965 -1. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes.
