HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000016_pg147PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order.by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M. on September 27, 1965 at 2401 Highway # 10. Present Were: Mayor: Clerk: Trustee: Absent: Trustee: Also Present: Attorney: Engineer: Deputy Clerk: Public Works: Donald C. Hodges Lloyd J. Blanchard Charles La Vaque Perry Malvin Ingram Rustad Richard Meyers Eldon Comstock Sheldon Boehm Joanne La Casse Walter Skiba The Clerk requested that action on the previous meeting minutes be deferred until the next meeting. Granted. Mr. D. Thompson, a resident of New Brighton, requested water service to his home on County Road H and 13th Avenue, as the New Brighton water lines do not exterâ–ºd this far. Request referred back to Mr. Thompson with advice that he first obtain permission from his Village Council. All Citizens who have insurance claims against the contractor for road oil damage were :instructed to contact the Gleason Company or the Village Engineer. Mr. Hodges reported that the O.E.P. forms regarding storm sewer damage were in the Engineer's hands for completion. Mr. La Vaque read the Planning Commission Minutes for August. On file. The matter of a proposed water line to Mr. A. Simons new building on Groveland and Highway # 10 was referred to the Engineer. The Clerk requested that the Planning Commission seriously study changing the front footage requirements, and Mr. La Vaque stated they would discuss it at their next meeting. Mr. Malvin reported that the Tom Thumb building is being torn down at the present time. A letter of resignation from Harriet Kish, Policewoman, was read. Motion by Blanchard to accept the resignation with regret and to send a letter of appreciation to Mrs. Kish. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
